Chief Administrative Officer
Pam is a Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional, with multiple degrees in Nursing, Biology, and Paralegal Studies. Her Nursing background includes 17 yrs in the OR as a Scrub Tech/RN Circulator/RN First Assistant - both in hospital practice and in private practice with a Neurosurgeon. She has led Open Heart teams and maintained long time ACLS certification. She cross trained in ED in Triage and Trauma; then, served on an ER-to-OR Trauma team. She expanded her role and coordinated Quality, Risk Management, and Case Management activities. This experience provided a wealth of knowledge about coding, reimbursement, and payor rules. Pam has seen many firsts in her career - from the first knee arthroscopy to the first laparoscopy. She wrote an award-winning Loss Prevention Program for a Catholic Healthcare organization. She has led many Cost savings projects in her hospitals - from high cost/high volume procedures and all cost of care associated with these. This became her passion and was a great fit for her desire to provide the best care to the patient at the best value. She has spent the past 12 years in Value Analysis Leadership roles and helped large and small hospitals meet savings targets. Some personal notes about Pam is that she LOVES PURPLE!! She has 4 children and 7 grandchildren + 2 fur babies. She's a Texas Longhorn and her husband is a Texas Aggie - College Football season is always INTERESTING in her household!!
